Maximiliano is a geologist from University of Chile with two years of experience in the production geology. At GeoEstima, he has contributed as a support team for ore grade estimation projects, conducting database analysis, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and geostatistical validations.
Representative projects:
His thesis, titled “Geological Modeling and Resources Estimation at Mina Rafaela, Cabildo, V Region” development a geological model for the mining operation using Leapfrog Geo software. Additionally, he carried out the resources estimation through fieldwork and the drillhole analysis.
Work experience:
In addition to his work on the thesis, at Mina Rafaela, he worked as a production geologist for nearly two years. During this period, he generated daily lithological, structural, and mineralogical mappings at production fronts. Furthermore, he conducted copper grade and extracted tonnage control sent to the plant. He also participated in the development of short-term production plans.
