Daniele is a Geologist with 15 years of experience in mining and geology, during which she specialized in geometallurgy, mineral processing and geochemistry. She has solid technical backgrounds in geology, geometallurgy, mineral processing (flotation and leaching), geochemistry and development of chemometric models of prediction for mineralogical and process variables.
Representative projects:
Throughout her professional career, Daniele has worked in porphyry copper-molybdenum deposits, precious metals (Au-Ag) deposits, Skarn deposits, for pre-feasibility, feasibility and open pit studies.
Work experience:
Daniele has worked as an advisor in the Geometallurgy area in the development of exploratory data analysis, mineralogical analysis and QA/QC of the database available for a project related to partial extraction (Antucoya), adviser in the Geometallurgy area in the development of chemometric models and responsible for generating the chemometric models of the geometallurgical variables using the GRAMS software. She worked as the Head of High Quality Training at LeapfrogGeo. She also worked as an advisor in the Metallurgy area in the development and review of the metallurgy chapter of NuevaUnión-compilation and QA / QC of the database available for the Feasibility Stage. Probabilistic calculation of the Pyrite law in the Quebrada Blanca and Carmen de Andacollo deposits. Support in the preparation and validation of the geological-geometallurgical database. Development of models that predict the geometallurgical behavior of Spence minerals, responsible for the development of chemometric models of the geometallurgy area using reflectance spectroscopy data analysis, mineralogy data and metallurgical test results.
Ratings and software:
Daniele has a degree in geological sciences, with a master's degree in Geosciences and Natural Resources (2006-2009) at UNICAMP, Brazil. She has a Geo-Mining-Metallurgy diploma from the University of Chile (2010). In addition, she took a course on Quality Assurance and Control in Geological Exploration, a course taught by Armando Simón. She excels in the use of software from Leapfrog Geo-EDGE ™ intermediate / advanced level, Vulcan ™, ioGAS ™, GRAMS ™ (Chemometric Modeling – Applied to Mineralogy and Geometallurgy), ENVI (Remote Sensing). During the development of her professional experience, she has published publications such as: Contreras, F., Beck, D., Montes, H. (2020).
