Camila brings a blend of scientific background as a geologist with valuable humanistic skills in communication and scientific report writing. In 2019, she conducted training sessions for the GeoEstima team to enhance the quality of their reports. Currently, she contributes to the marketing team, proposal development, and scientific report editing.
Representative projects:
She made her thesis at Cerro Pabellón, the country's first geothermal plant, titled “Hydrothermal Alteration at Cerro Pabellón: Case Study of Drillhole PexAP-1”. At GeoEstima, she has been actively engaged in editing resource model reports and audit reports in Spanish and English. Additionally, she is working on creating a series of new templates for all the text formats used in the company.
Work experience:
Throughout her career, she worked as a teacher assistant for the “Oral and Written Expression” course for several years, and she was also a LEA Tutor at the University of Chile. Additionally, she worked as a professor for the “Communication Skills” course at the University Andrés Bello, where she continues working as teacher assistant for the “Genre and Inequality” courses. Simultaneously, she has gained experience in mining and geology consulting, specializing in technical proposal development, internal organization, management, and as scientific text editing.
