Javier is a geologist and geostatistician with 12 years of experience in mineral resource evaluation, geometallurgy and exploration in copper deposits.
During his professional career, Javier has worked on estimates with multivariable methods (co-kriging, principal components), grade estimation and mineralogical data, geostatistical simulations, database reviews and implicit geological modelling.
Representative projects:
Throughout his professional career, Javier has worked in porphyry copper-molybdenum deposits, precious metals (Au-Ag) deposits, Skarn deposits, for pre-feasibility studies, feasibility and underground and open pit operations.
Work experience:
Javier has worked for three years in various open-cut copper operations in Chile belonging to AMSA (Minera Centinela), Mantos Copper (Mantle Verde) and BHP Billiton (Spence) and exploration (Cuprum Resources Limited). He has been a consultant at GeoEstima since 2015.
