Manuel is a Civil Computer Engineer, he has a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Bío-Bío, Concepción. His thesis consisted of detecting aggressiveness on texts in Spanish using Lexicons and Machine Learning algorithms.
Representative Projects:
During his student days, he participated in research projects related to the computational efficiency of processing map algebra operations on compact data structures, focused on geographic data.
Manuel has helped the digital transformation of Geoestima. In addition, he has worked on mine planning projects and on the development of algorithms for block model analysis.
Work Experience:
Manuel was a part-time professor at the Universidad del Bío-Bío, Concepción, teaching the course Introduction to programming and professor of programming workshops for high school students. In addition, he worked as a data analyst at the Universidad del Desarrollo.
He currently works as a Consultant Data Scientist at GeoEstima since 2022.
