Oscar is a Civil Computer Engineer and a Master's student in Computer Science from the University of Bío-Bío, Concepción. The subject of his thesis is: “Efficient calculation of map algebra on raster data stored in the compact data structures K2-raster and k3-tree”
Representative projects:
Since his arrival at GeoEstima, he has participated as support in the development of projects such as: mining planning, application of machine learning algorithms to geometallurgical and geochemical variables from the geochemical variables of composites. In addition to participating in different developments of scripts for Python such as: algorithm for the dilution of mineral grades through the geometric evaluation of block models; development of Python scripts that automate chart creation and validation of estimation results
In addition, Oscar has been involved in the implementation of cloud technologies such as Microsoft 365 for team communication and collaboration and Amazon Web Services to provide cloud computing services to our company.
Work experience:
Se desempeño como asistente de investigación en la Universidad del Bío-Bío, sobre el tema “Implementar consultas definidas del álgebra de mapas sobre datos raster almacenados de la estructura de datos compacta k2-raster”. Se desempeñó como docente part-time de la Universidad del Bio-Bio, impartiendo como profesor la asignatura Arquitectura de Computadores e impartió como profesor de laboratorio las asignaturas: Introducción a la Programación, Estructuras de Datos, Sistemas Operativos, etc.
