Talita Ferreira is geologist with 16 years of mining industry experience, with a focus on mineral resource evaluation, geological modeling and geostatistics. She has worked for major companies from Brazil and Peru and junior companies from Canada, in South America, in projects and operations mainly in development of mineral resources and implementation of best practices with the estimation workflow. She has extensive experience in zinc, lead, copper, gold, silver and is Qualifying Person for several types of mineral deposits, such as VMS, porphyry, and hydrothermal.
Work experience:
Prior to Geoestima, Talita held the position of Consultant Geologist at Nexa Resources S.A. and Senior Resource Geologist of Yamana Gold Inc. She has been involved in many exploration projects including due diligence and peer reviews for internal audits purposes. Additionally, she prepared drilling programs, geostatistical studies, Mineral Resources estimates and audits, and documentation for public disclosure including preparation of Technical Reports compliant with National Instrument 43-101, and Technical Report Summaries compliant with SEC S-K 1300 Regulation.

Mrs. Ferreira has extensive practical know-how with logging, geological mapping, data analysis, geological modelling, resource estimates and audits. She has work on base metals, gold, silver, copper, nickel, cobalt and, calcium carbonate projects in different types of mineral deposits and in underground and open pit mines. In additional to her technical skills, Talita’s experience includes technical advisory, training and mentorship within group of geologists over the companies that she had worked.

Talita has a bachelor degree in geology (Bsc.) and a master degree (Msc.) in Mineral Resources from University of São Paulo (Brazil) and has a post-graduate certificated in Geoestatistics from the University of Alberta (Canada).
