The greatest challenge in this project was modelling the 3D veins in order to have an adequate control of the laws for the estimation stage.
GeoEstima’s main activities were: the analysis and consolidation of the database, definition of geological units, generation of lithology 3D model, vein model, vein model halo and sulfide roof model using LeapfrogGeo® software. Subsequently GeoEstima worked on the estimation of copper grades and solubility ratio using Isatis® software. This information allowed developing the categorization of resources.
